The Big Easy Chelsea.

This is our favourite spot on the Kings road. Its relaxed, non pretentious with good food and awesome frozen cocktails!
We went for the Wednesday night special, the fajitas. They come with steak, chicken and shrimp all thrown in with a frozen martini. Yes please.

I apologize for the fuzzy photos, the low light doesn't make them the best.

They gave us some crab bibs, and apart from making us look particularly swarve they really did come in handy, particularly for any messy eaters like me.

Henri had a little trouble tying hers on..

A beautiful platter of meat.. AND it's unlimited!

Looking for good food, cocktails, beer and desserts The Big Easy really is somewhere you should pay a visit!

One of our favourite places in London to eat. On weekends live music is played downstairs and there is constantly a buzzing atmosphere whatever day of the week it may be. Take note any veggies out there... maybe not you're first choice! Ribs, steak and lobster is what the menu revolves around!

Here's a lobster dish we've had in the past..oooommm

Next time I'm going to hit the Monday beer night..
Find them HERE!

After satisfying ourselves with plenty of steak, chicken and shrimp we hopped across the road to meet some friends for a boogie at Raffles.

Burger & Lobster

Last night Tamsin and I ventured back into Soho - our mission? Burgers and lobsters.

We got there early to ensure we got a table due to the fact we hadn't booked - it's extremely popular at the moment so do make sure you do arrive early or book!

Aside from the main event we thought cocktails were a good way to start..

I was slightly less sophisticated and went for a beer..

.....although couldn't help tucking into Tamsin's Winter Berry cocktail!

here we go...........

BOOM!

Tamsin went for the lobster and the carnivore I am went for the burger.. how cute does she look in her bib?!

A lot of the time the salad is ignored and doesn't stand a chance against the meat  - on this occasion though the salad definitely stood its ground. This is how a salad should be served, light shavings of parmesan, a dash of sweet dressing a handful of croutons and some red onions to top! I thoroughly enjoyed it.

What can I say?.. she likes to play with her food!

My burger came with cheese, bacon, gherkins, red onions and a nice slab of beef stake tomato.

Tamsin smothered her chips in ketchup, or should I say her ketchup in chips..

And ordered her lobster with a lemon and butter sauce..

Of course it didn't last long..

As you can imagine we were utterly stuffed but couldn't resist the orange and ginger cheesecake, no, let me re-phrase this, TAMSIN couldn't resist but explained to the waiter that we were sharing as she didn't want to look like a fatty.

Okay I may have had a mouthful or two myself..

It was very light and soft, not your regular cheesecake but marvelous!

As I said get there early as its extremely popular, this is the Soho establishment - the original is in Mayfair which I believe is slightly smaller.
The staff were very helpful but we came to the conclusion that the food was slightly overpriced (£20 for either a burger or lobster.) Great atmosphere - worth a cheeky visit!

Inamo

Tamsin and I have been meaning to go this place for an age, so this evening when we found ourselves in Soho we thought we'd finally track it down.
On arrival we had to wait in the bar downstairs for around 15 minutes, it was well worth the wait! (to be honest anywhere you have to wait for on a Tuesday night is bound to be good!)

Stepping into Inamo is like walking off the streets of 2013 into 2020. Inamo is an interactive restaurant this means that all the tables are projected onto and they almost become one massive iPad. Pretty cool eh?

We could also change the 'texture' of our table.. I put it on shuffle to mix it up slightly.

I had a little gander through the different options, when scrolling through the menu the image of the food or drink on the menu is projected into your plate.. its devilishly tempting. We had to restrain ourselves from ordering the whole menu!

Another feature I came across was the 'kitchen cam' ..yes, we can seee youuuu!

To begin we decided to settle on some cocktails, I had a Lychee martini while Tamsin fancied a passion fruit concoction

Now, this is what we really wanted to find out.. did the food live up to our expectations? ummmm that would be a, firm yes! The waiter advised we ordered 2 small and 1 large dish each.. of course we didnt listen...

We thought the best thing, just order now and worry about the bill/ dont look at it at the end!
I ordered chicken satay, although Tamsin is allergic to peanuts so couldn't have any.. what a shame. for her! And some small crispy prawns, Tammy ordered some squid and spring onion dim sum, some tuna sushi which was DEVINE, and some king prawns, I happily helped her out!

Chicken Satay:

The king prawns didn't last long..

 Small crispy prawns:

Oh no, we couldn't stop there, it was time for the large dishes! We got tapping away on our interactive table for another order..
Tamsin went for some beef which came with a hot stone, we were able to sear the meat on the outside, it was beautifully tender and full of flavor, it came with a selection of three sauces.

As you can tell we're not the veggie types..

Although saying that I went for a thai red curry.. which to be honest for me, could have done with some chicken although it had a beautifully creamy, fragrant flavor.

I would highly recommend a visit here, it is like nowhere else I have been in London. Cant think of anywhere to go and want something different Inamo on Wardour Street in Soho is the place for you!
